At Dorset Boat Recycling Services, we specialise in the responsible recycling and rehoming of small boats up to 40 feet (12 meters).
Based in the heart of Dorset, our mission is to reduce environmental impact by giving end-of-life vessels a new lease on life—either through careful dismantling and recycling or by finding them new owners who can restore and enjoy them.

Q: What types of boats do you take?
A: We recycle GRP/fibreglass boats of all shapes and sizes – from small dinghies to 40ft cruisers. If you’re unsure, send us a photo!
Q: Is it free?
A: Disposal costs vary depending on size, location, and condition. Smaller boats may only need a handling fee; larger vessels require more labour and materials processing.
Q: Can you collect my boat?
A: Yes – we offer collection throughout Dorset and nearby areas. Just give us a postcode and a photo for a quote.
Q: What happens to the boat?
A: We dismantle responsibly, salvaging usable parts and disposing of waste via licensed energy recovery facilities. Nothing goes to landfill unless absolutely necessary.
Q: Can I donate a boat to be rehomed?
A: Absolutely! Some boats are too good to scrap. If yours fits the bill, we’ll help give it a second life.
